Installation and Adjustment

1. To comply with AS 1428.1-2001, grab rails must be fastened:
   
   • a minimum distance of 800mm from the floor
   • with 600mm of clear space above the rail
   • to withstand a force of 1100N (110Kg) at any point from any direction
2. To adjust hinge-tension on fold down rail:
   • loosen grub screw in centre of Hex-Nut
   • adjust Hex-Nut to desired tension
   • tighten centre grub screw
